In order to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar a grand celebration was held at Talcher Thermal. The occasion was marked with profound reverence, commemorating the life and legacy of the father of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice.

The event was characterized by a rich tapestry of activities, including thought-provoking speech by the Chief Guest Sh. Goutam Deb, Executive Director, TTPP wherein various cultural program was performed by children of "ADRUTA CHILDREN HOME" through paying homage to his teachings, and community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting awareness and inclusivity.

The Chief Speaker Sh. Prafulla Naik, Advocate and Social Worker-Angul also gave a light on the life journey of Dr. B R Ambedkar. On this special occasion, the prizes were also awarded to the students of DAV School, TTPS, who have excelled in various competitions. Through this grand celebration, Talcher Thermal Power Station not only honored Dr. Ambedkar's memory but also reiterated its dedication to fostering an environment of equality and dignity for all. It was a momentous occasion that brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, united in their appreciation for Dr. Ambedkar's transformative legacy.
